Our summer campers of all ages enjoy swimming or water play. Our Elementary campers go swimming everyday in our rooftop pool, where they have fun and enhance their swimming skills.
Our younger campers also benefit from age-appropriate water play each day. Our children play in sprinklers, use water tables, and play in various water-based group activities. A frequent favorite is our field trips to the Van Vorst Park playground and splash pad to beat the heat.
Toddler Camp
Our curious toddlers had a blast reviewing the fascinating modes of transportation that take us through our city and around the globe in "Zoom, Zoom, Away We Go!" camp! The children explored how boats, bikes, cars, and trains work.
Primary Camp
Our Primary campers spent the session learning all about sharks! Students learned through guided and independent crafts, cultural lessons, and a variety of music and movement activities that explored the sea. The children focused on hammerhead, nurse, mako, lemon, angel, tiger, whale, and great white sharks. Our teachers taught fun facts about each shark and explained their anatomy, habitats, feeding habits, and more!
Elementary Camp
Elementary children studied matter, light, and sound by watching the world's finest athletes compete at this year's Paris Olympics. From how the Olympic torch emits light to how the colors of uniforms worn by athletes affect their performance to how sound travels throughout a stadium, campers looked at every aspect of the game through a physicist's eyes.
This week, our summer campers began Session 3, for the final two weeks of camp! We use an interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach. For more information about our Summer Camp, please visit our program page or contact our administrative office.
