At Hudson Montessori School, we extend learning beyond the classroom by spending as much time as possible outside and experiencing the great lessons the outdoors offers. Our students enjoy two private playspaces: our 30 Regent Street playspace and the backyard playground of the 50 Regent Building. Hudson Montessori School recently beautified our 30 Regent Street playspace with new turf and barriers at the start of this school year.
This project was made possible by the unwavering support of Hudson Montessori School's parents, who funded it through annual fundraisers and personal donations, and the hard work of our Hudson Montessori Parent Volunteers. We are deeply grateful to our community partner, SSJ Floors, for their generosity in providing the new turf for all our students to enjoy.
In addition, in our proximity to Liberty State Park, Morris Canal Park, and Van Vorst Park, our school classrooms often go to those spaces and even host lessons outdoors. These trips are just one way we go beyond our standard daily outdoor recess for students.
Thank you to our Hudson Montessori School parents and SSJ Floors. Your generous donations of time, money, and expertise have played a crucial role in keeping our playspace as a fun, functional, and beautiful place for our students to learn, play, and grow. We truly appreciate your support.
