A strong relationship between a child's educators and parents prepares students for academic success and establishes a solid foundation for learning. The first month of school was full of parent events: Coffee & Meet and Greet week, Schoolwide Welcome Breakfast, and Back to School Nights. We look forward to every opportunity for our teachers, school administrators, and parents to meet and strengthen their bonds as they enter a partnership to support each child’s growth.
Two upcoming events—a child’s Montessori “Journey” and Parent Education Night “Montessori Philosophy,” are designed for parents new to the Montessori system.
“Journey” is an evening event where we welcome parents back to the classroom on October 5th to learn more about how our students learn Math, Language Arts, Practical Life, and Sensorial Work in the Toddler through Lower Elementary levels. Our teachers will explain everything parents need to know about the beautifully designed Montessori materials and how the various classroom areas are interrelated.
The Journey event differs from our Montessori Philosophy Parent Education Night held virtually on Zoom on October 18th to address how the Montessori Method works.
We are grateful for a cohesive and vibrant parent community. It was wonderful to see hundreds of parents who mixed, mingled, and enjoyed breakfast bites while learning more about the exciting year in store for Hudson Montessori 2023-2024 at our Welcome Breakfast recently.
At each of our Back to School Nights, held throughout September, parents from all grade levels (Toddler to Middle School) joined us to learn more about their students’ enriching curriculum, daily schedules, special classes, and other essential details.
We are excited to share all the remarkable things happening at Hudson Montessori School. To learn more about our interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach to education, the Montessori philosophy and methodology, or how the school fosters the love of learning for its students, the school welcomes parents to our open houses beginning on October 3, 2023.
