Throughout our February Maker Month, Hudson Montessori School students from kindergarten to 6th grade decided to make a difference in the lives of children living with pediatric blood cancer. Our school raised $5,800 thanks to the dedication of our students, their families, and the community.
The money raised goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to develop new treatments for a range of pediatric blood cancers. Many treatments used today are harsh and bring long-lasting, or even life-threatening, complications and side effects.
Hudson Montessori School is proud that the money from our most successful Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser will be used on endeavors like the new LLS Children’s Initiative—a collaborative clinical trial to vastly improve the lives of children living with Leukemia and Lymphoma.
Thank you again to each family for your generosity and continued support of our school and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
