Our students started February by presenting a symphony of ideas at our annual Middle School Ted Talks event. Each sixth-grade student presented on topics close to their hearts. Students themed their upcoming TED talks on the "Harmony of Learning."
After many weeks of preparing how to construct, design, and deliver a Ted Talk, they narrowed their ideas by examining what life lessons they had learned or what personal ideas they were passionate about sharing.
Each presentation offered the students invaluable practice for public speaking, surrounded by the support of their classmates and families. Events like our school TED Talks instill the confidence our students need to share their ideas with our school community and beyond.
