Lower Elementary Schoolers Celebrate Lunar New Year and Attend Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company Show

schooloffice67

Our Lower Elementary students watched the stunning Lunar New Year performance from the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The children learned about Lunar New Year traditions and how the 2023 Year of the Rabbit will was welcomed across Asian communities worldwide with fireworks and red lanterns on Sunday, January 22nd. The water rabbit symbolizes patience and luck, and many believe the Year of the Rabbit brings peace, harmony, and tranquility to the new year.

The school's nationally-certified STEM program is known for creating a solid foundation in the sciences. But our school goes a step further to be a STEAM school by including the "A" for the arts, which unlocks each child's creative side, including illustration, design, the performance arts, and more.
