Hudson Montessori School Families and Students Go West for Spring Break

Twelve of our 4th-6th graders and seven of their parents joined our school for our school’s six-day 2024 Spring Break trip. This year, we headed West, flying into Las Vegas as the starting point to explore the unique sights of Utah and Arizona.

Our group took in the gorgeous view from the Grand Canyon and the striking red cliffs of Zion National Park. They also visited Phoenix and Sedona before heading to Utah to sandboard at Pink Sands National Park. The students experienced the beauty of Bryce Canyon. One of the standout excursions of the trip was a boat ride through the horseshoe bend of the Colorado River.

The benefits of travel for our students are endless. They expand their knowledge of the world, discover new things about themselves, and grow in self-confidence. These skills are essential to creating global citizens, and our school is proud to offer these opportunities to students and their families.

To learn more about Hudson Montessori School's interdisciplinary, theme-based learning approach to education, the Montessori philosophy and methodology, or how the school fosters the love of learning for its students, the school welcomes parents to learn more for children aged 2 to eighth grade at our upcoming open houses.
