Join our Middle Schoolers in collecting food for our Jersey City neighbors needing a helping hand this season through our November canned food drive.
Our students were inspired by their recent visit to the Canstructure Exhibit in Brookfield Place in NYC. Teams of engineers, contractors, and architects create large-scale sculptures using cans, boxes, and bags of non-perishable foods. After the exhibition, each sculpture is donated to local organizations to help combat food insecurity. Like them, we'll donate food to those in need this season.
Food donation bins are currently set out at 10, 30, and 50 Regent St. through Nov. 20. Please consider donating these non-perishable goods:
Soup
Fruits
Vegetables
Tuna/Chicken
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Juice
Vienna Sausages
Cereal
Pasta
Rice
Beans
Snacks
