Our annual School Spirit Week has begun! The week before Spring Break is always exciting as students forego uniforms for creative costumes for each unique dress-up day. We are excited to see students and staff pull out all the stops with their inventive attire as we celebrate school spirit and drum up excitement for our Danceathon fundraiser!
Monday, March 25: Cultural Awareness (Dress from a country or culture)
Tuesday, March 26: Crazy Hat/Hair Day (Express yourself from the neck up!)
Wednesday, March 27: Wacky Wednesday (Wild, wacky, mismatched)
Thursday, March 28: Danceathon (Athletic wear, team jerseys, dance attire)
The Danceathon (Thursday) is a fun-filled fundraiser for the school run by the school parent organization, the Hudson Montessori Volunteers (HMV). The HMV passes on the funds collected to the school to buy enrichment supplies for our classrooms for students of all ages. Our annual fundraising goal is $15,000 to fund those wish list items.
The HMV asks parents to please sponsor their child! Send your child's sponsorship link to friends and family and share it on social media. The app does the rest. Just click here and search for the child: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/hmsdanceathon24
Fundraising is a personal choice, and regardless of whether a child gets pledges, all of our children are looking forward to tons of fun with their friends for schoolwide spirit week. We know our students have a blast dancing their hearts out every year. The week features fun, community building, and school spirit!
Our school is grateful for the continued support and generosity of our teachers, students, families, community, and school leadership team. Thank you for your willingness to help our school fundraise for enrichment supplies for our students. When we reach our goal, the HMV will host an Outshine popsicle day for every child in the school!
