Our Neighborhood Features
The Hudson River borders us to the south, and we are within walking distance of Liberty State Park, Liberty Science Center, the main branch of the Jersey City Public Library, City Hall, and the Grove Street PATH station. Our older students often visit Manhattan for cultural and educational field trips, including the Montessori Model United Nations.
-
The Hudson River and Estuary are one of our outdoor classrooms, including specialized permits by the NJDEP to do scientific lab work.
-
New York City—and all of its opportunities—are minutes away.
-
We use neighborhood parks for play and as outdoor classrooms.
-
Older students learn how to do research at the Jersey City Main Library.
-
Our students often take walking tours of Jersey City's historic buildings and the newly accredited arboretum of Van Vorst Park.
We extend a special thank you to SSJ Floors for their generosity in providing the new turf for all our students to enjoy.
