Educated in a variety of teaching methods both modern and traditional, Mr. Jim brings the experience of many to provide a singular teaching style that helps students learn and improve as quickly as possible. Whether a child is just starting out, an experienced junior, or even a seasoned adult, Mr. Jim has the knowledge and experience to take their game to a new level and fully enjoy the game for a lifetime. TennisApproach specializes in the U.S.T.A endorsed 10 and under format. This format involves shorter courts, low compression balls, appropriately sized equipment and a variety of skills in which movement, hand-eye coordination and racket skill progressions are introduced to the students.  The overall format eliminates the frustration often faced by children when they use the wrong size racket and a net or court that is inappropriately sized.

Tennis Approach values game play as kids learn to develop the skills to rally. For the students, it is all about the excitement and fun but also about proper technique.  Tennis Approach strongly believes in starting kids early with proper movement drills and games as well as teaching them correct modern stroke technique.  Tennis Approach has its own unique curriculum that engages the children by using Math, Language skills, Sounds and Science so that children feel and get engaged as they would in the normal classroom, but within the context of learning tennis.
